namaḥ śivāya rudrāya
namaḥ śakti-dharāya ca
sarva-vidyādhipataye
bhūtānāṁ pataye namaḥ

TRANSLATION — TRADUCCION

I offer my respectful obeisances unto You, Lord Śiva, or Rudra, who are the reservoir of all potencies, the reservoir of all knowledge, and the master of everyone.

Yo Te ofrezco respetuosas reverencias a Ti, Señor Śiva, Rudra, que eres el receptáculo de todas las potencias y de todo el conocimiento, y que eres el amo de todos.

PURPORT — SIGNIFICADO

	It is the system for one to offer obeisances unto the expansion or incarnation of the Lord. Lord Śiva is the incarnation of ignorance, one of the material modes of nature.			Es costumbre ofrecer reverencias a la expansión o encarnación del Señor. El Señor Śiva es la encarnación de la ignorancia, una de las modalidades materiales de la naturaleza.
