ākūtyāṁ devahūtyāṁ ca
duhitros tasya vai manoḥ
dharma-jñānopadeśārthaṁ
bhagavān putratāṁ gataḥ

TRANSLATION — TRADUCCION

Svāyambhuva Manu had two daughters, named Ākūti and Devahūti. From their wombs, the Supreme Personality of Godhead appeared as two sons named Yajñamūrti and Kapila respectively. These sons were entrusted with preaching about religion and knowledge.

Svāyambhuva Manu tuvo dos hijas: Ākūti y Devahūti. Ambas tuvieron por hijo a la Suprema Personalidad de Dios. Ākūti fue madre de Yajñamūrti, y Devahūti, de Kapila. Esos hijos tuvieron la misión de predicar acerca de la religión y el conocimiento.

PURPORT — SIGNIFICADO

	Devahūti’s son was known as Kapila, and Ākūti’s son was known as Yajñamūrti. Both of Them taught about religion and philosophical knowledge.			El hijo de Devahūti se llamó Kapila, y el hijo de Ākūti, Yajñamūrti. Ambos enseñaron acerca de la religión y el conocimiento filosófico.
