ya ete pitṛ-devānām
ayane veda-nirmite
śāstreṇa cakṣuṣā veda
jana-stho ’pi na muhyati

 | Even though situated in a material body, one who is fully aware of the paths known as pitṛ-yāna and deva-yāna, and who thus opens his eyes in terms of Vedic knowledge, is never bewildered in this material world. | | | El que es perfectamente consciente de las sendas denominadas pitṛ-yāna y deva- yāna, y que, por ello, tiene los ojos abiertos en función del conocimiento védico, nunca se confunde en el mundo material, aunque esté situado en un cuerpo material. | |
PURPORT — SIGNIFICADO
| | Ācāryavān puruṣo veda: one who is guided by the bona fide spiritual master knows everything as stated in the Vedas, which set forth the standard of infallible knowledge. As recommended in Bhagavad-gītā, ācāryopāsanam: one must approach the ācārya for real knowledge. Tad-vijñānārthaṁ sa gurum evābhigacchet: one must approach the ācārya, for then one will receive perfect knowledge. When guided by the spiritual master, one attains the ultimate goal of life. | | | Ācāryavān puruṣo veda: El que es guiado por el maestro espiritual genuino lo conoce todo tal y como se explica en los Vedas, que establecen el patrón del conocimiento infalible. Como se recomienda en elBhagavad-gītā: ācāryopāsanam: Para obtener verdadero conocimiento, hay que acudir al ācārya. Tad-vijñānārthaṁ sa gurum evābhigacchet: Tenemos que acudir al ācārya, pues así recibiremos conocimiento perfecto.
