 | Śrī Śukadeva Gosvāmī said: Thus having been questioned, Lord Yamarāja, the supreme controller of the living entities, was very pleased with his order carriers because of hearing from them the holy name of Nārāyaṇa. He remembered the lotus feet of the Lord and began to reply. | | | Śrī Śukadeva Gosvāmī dijo: Tras escuchar esas preguntas, el Señor Yamarāja, el controlador supremo de las entidades vivientes, se sintió muy complacido con sus mensajeros, pues les había escuchado pronunciar el santo nombre de Nārāyaṇa. Yamarāja recordó los pies de loto del Señor y se dispuso a contestar. | |
PURPORT — SIGNIFICADO
| | Śrīla Yamarāja, the supreme controller of the living entities in terms of their pious and impious activities, was very pleased with his servants because they had chanted the holy name of Nārāyaṇa in his dominion. Yamarāja has to deal with men who are all sinful and who can hardly understand Nārāyaṇa. Consequently when his order carriers uttered the name of Nārāyaṇa, he was extremely pleased, for he also is a Vaiṣṇava. | | | Śrīla Yamarāja, el controlador supremo de las actividades piadosas e impías de las entidades vivientes, estaba muy complacido con sus sirvientes porque habían cantado el santo nombre de Nārāyaṇa en sus dominios. Yamarāja tiene que tratar con toda clase de hombres pecaminosos que a duras penas pueden entender a Nārāyaṇa. Por esa razón, cuando sus mensajeros pronunciaron el nombre de Nārāyaṇa, se sintió sumamente complacido, pues él también es un vaiṣṇava. | | |
