स्मयमानमभिध्यायेत्सानुरागावलोकनम् ।
नियतेनैकभूतेन मनसा वरदर्षभम् ॥५१॥
smayamānam abhidhyāyet
sānurāgāvalokanam
niyatenaika-bhūtena
manasā varadarṣabham

 | The Lord is always smiling, and the devotee should constantly see the Lord in this form, as He looks very mercifully toward the devotee. In this way the meditator should look toward the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the bestower of all benedictions. | | | El Señor siempre está sonriente, y el devoto debe verle constantemente en esa forma, que mira al devoto con gran misericordia. PURPORT — SIGNIFICADO
| | The word niyatena is very significant in this connection, for it indicates that one should execute the meditation practice as stated above. One should not manufacture a way of meditation on the Supreme Personality of Godhead, but should follow the authorized śāstras and personalities. By this prescribed method one can practice concentration upon the Lord until one is so fixed that he remains in trance, thinking always of the form of the Lord. The word used here is eka-bhūtena, which means “with great attention and concentration.” If one concentrates on the descriptions of the bodily features of the Lord, one will never fall down. | | | A este respecto es muy importante la palabra niyatena, pues indica que la práctica de la meditación debe realizarse como antes se explicó. No hay que inventar una nueva manera de meditar en la Suprema Personalidad de Dios, sino seguir los śāstras y personalidades autorizados. Con el método recomendado, se puede practicar la concentración en el Señor hasta adquirir la estabilidad suficiente como para permanecer en trance, pensando siempre en la forma del Señor. La palabra que aquí se emplea es eka-bhūtena, que significa «con gran atención y concentración». Quien se concentre en las descripciones de los rasgos corporales del Señor, nunca caerá. | | |
