विदुर उवाच
सोऽयमद्य महायोगिन् भवता करुणात्मना ।
दर्शितस्तमस: पारो यत्राकिञ्चनगो हरि: ॥ २९ ॥
vidura uvāca
so ’yam adya mahā-yogin
bhavatā karuṇātmanā
darśitas tamasaḥ pāro
yatrākiñcana-go hariḥ

 | Śrī Vidura said: O great mystic, O greatest of all devotees, by your causeless mercy I have been shown the path of liberation from this world of darkness. By following this path, a person liberated from the material world can return home, back to Godhead. | | | Śrī Vidura dijo: ¡Oh, gran místico! ¡Oh, tú, el más grande de todos los devotos!, por tu misericordia sin causa me has mostrado el sendero por el cual se obtiene la liberación de este mundo de oscuridad. Por ese sendero, la persona liberada del mundo material puede regresar al hogar, de vuelta a Dios. | |
PURPORT — SIGNIFICADO
| | This material world is called tamaḥ, dark, and the spiritual world is called light. The Vedas enjoin that everyone should try to get out of the darkness and go to the kingdom of light. Information of that kingdom of light can be attained through the mercy of a self-realized soul. One also has to get rid of all material desires. As soon as one frees himself from material desires and associates with a liberated person, the path back home, back to Godhead, is clear. | | | Del mundo material se dice que es tamaḥ, oscuro, mientras que del mundo espiritual se dice que es luz. El mandamiento de los Vedas ordena que todos debemos tratar de salir de la obscuridad e ir al reino de la luz. La información acerca del reino de la luz puede obtenerse por la misericordia de un alma autorrealizada. También es necesario liberarse de todos los deseos materiales. En cuanto nos liberamos de los deseos materiales y nos relacionamos con una persona liberada, el sendero de regreso al hogar, de vuelta a Dios, se abre ante nosotros. | | |
