स वै भवानात्मविनिर्मितं जगद्भू
भूतेन्द्रियान्तःकरणात्मकं विभो ।
संस्थापयिष्यन्नज मां रसातला
दभ्युज्जहाराम्भस आदिसूकरः ॥३४॥
sa vai bhavān ātma-vinirmitaṁ jagad
bhūtendriyāntaḥ-karaṇātmakaṁ vibho
saṁsthāpayiṣyann aja māṁ rasātalād
abhyujjahārāmbhasa ādi-sūkaraḥ

 | My dear Lord, You are always unborn. Once, in the form of the original boar, You rescued me from the waters in the bottom of the universe. Through Your own energy You created all the physical elements, the senses and the heart, for the maintenance of the world. | | | Mi querido señor, tú eres siempre innaciente. En cierta ocasión, adoptaste la forma del jabalí original y me rescataste de las aguas del fondo del universo. Mediante tu propia energía, y para mantener el mundo, has creado todos los elementos físicos, los sentidos y el corazón. | |
PURPORT — SIGNIFICADO
| | This refers to the time when Lord Kṛṣṇa appeared as the supreme boar, Varāha, and rescued the earth, which had been merged in water. The asura Hiraṇyākṣa had dislocated the earth from its orbit and thrown it beneath the waters of the Garbhodaka Ocean. Then the Lord, in the shape of the original boar, rescued the earth. | | | Este verso remite a la ocasión en que el Señor Kṛṣṇa, apareciendo con la forma del jabalí supremo Varāha, rescató la Tierra, que estaba hundida en el agua. El asura Hiraṇyākṣa había desviado la Tierra de su órbita, y la había hundido en las aguas del océano Gabhodaka. En esa ocasión, la Tierra fue rescatada por el Señor, que adoptó la forma del jabalí original. | | |
