क्रीडायामुद्यमोऽर्भस्य कामश्चिक्रीडिषान्यतः
स्वतस्तृप्तस्य च कथं निवृत्तस्य सदान्यतः
krīḍāyām udyamo ’rbhasya
kāmaś cikrīḍiṣānyataḥ
svatas-tṛptasya ca kathaṁ
nivṛttasya sadānyataḥ

TRANSLATION — TRADUCCION
 | Boys are enthusiastic to play with other boys or with various diversions because they are encouraged by desire. But there is no possibility of such desire for the Lord because He is self-satisfied and detached from everything at all times. | | | A los muchachos los entusiasma jugar con otros muchachos o con variadas diversiones, debido a que los anima el deseo. Pero no hay ninguna posibilidad de un deseo tal en el Señor, debido a que está satisfecho en Sí mismo, y está desapegado en todo momento. | |
PURPORT — SIGNIFICADO
| | Since the Supreme Personality of Godhead is one without a second, there is no possibility that anything besides Him can exist. He expands Himself by His energies in multiforms of self-expansions and separated expansions as well, just as fire expands itself by heat and light. Since there is no other existence besides the Lord Himself, the Lord’s association with anything manifests His association with Himself. In Bhagavad-gītā (9.4) the Lord says: | | | Como la Suprema Personalidad de Dios es aquel que no tiene igual, no hay posibilidad de que pueda existir nada aparte de Él. Mediante Sus energías, Se expande en múltiples formas de expansiones de Sí mismo, así como también de expansiones separadas, tal como el fuego se expande mediante el calor y la luz. Como no hay ninguna otra existencia además del propio Señor, Su relación con cualquier cosa manifiesta Su relación consigo mismo. En el Bhagavad-gītā (9.4), el Señor dice: | | | | | mayā tatam idaṁ sarvaṁ
jagad avyakta-mūrtinā
mat-sthāni sarva-bhūtāni
na cāhaṁ teṣv avasthitaḥ | | | mayā tatam idaṁ sarvaṁ

mat-sthāni sarva-bhūtāni
na cāhaṁ teṣv avasthitaḥ | | | | | “The complete manifestation of the cosmic situation is an expansion of the Lord Himself in His impersonal feature. All things are situated in Him only, yet He is not in them.” | | | «Toda la manifestación completa de la situación cósmica es una expansión del propio Señor en Su aspecto impersonal. Todas las cosas están situadas únicamente en Él, mas Él no está en ellas». | | | | | That is the opulence of the Lord’s attachment and detachment.
