तामसो भूतसूक्ष्मादिर्यतः खं लिङ्गमात्मनः

tāmaso bhūta-sūkṣmādir
yataḥ khaṁ liṅgam ātmanaḥ

TRANSLATION — TRADUCCION

The sky is a product of sound, and sound is the transformation of egoistic ignorance. In other words, the sky is the symbolic representation of the Supreme Soul.

El cielo es un producto del sonido, y el sonido es la transformación de la pasión egoísta. En otras palabras, el cielo es la representación simbólica del Alma Suprema.

PURPORT — SIGNIFICADO

	In the Vedic hymns it is said, etasmād ātmanaḥ ākāśaḥ sambhūtaḥ. The sky is the symbolic representation of the Supreme Soul. Those who are egoistic in passion and ignorance cannot conceive of the Personality of Godhead. For them the sky is the symbolic representation of the Supreme Soul.			En los himnos védicos se dice: etasmād ātmanaḥ ākāśaḥ sambhūtaḥ. El cielo es la representación simbólica del Alma Suprema. Quienes son egoístas influenciados por la pasión e ignorancia no pueden concebir a la Personalidad de Dios. Para ellos, el cielo es la representación simbólica del Alma Suprema.
