वायोश्च स्पर्शतन्मात्राद्रूपं दैवेरितादभूत् ।
समुत्थितं ततस्तेजश्चक्षू रूपोपलम्भनम् ॥३८॥
vāyoś ca sparśa-tanmātrād
rūpaṁ daiveritād abhūt
samutthitaṁ tatas tejaś
cakṣū rūpopalambhanam

 | By interactions of the air and the sensations of touch, one receives different forms according to destiny. By evolution of such forms, there is fire, and the eye sees different forms in color. | | | Mediante las interacciones del aire y las sensaciones del tacto, recibimos diversas formas, según el destino. Debido a la evolución de esas formas, aparece el fuego, y el ojo ve distintas formas y colores. | |
PURPORT — SIGNIFICADO
| | Because of destiny, the touch sensation, the interactions of air, and the situation of the mind, which is produced of the ethereal element, one receives a body according to his previous activities. Needless to say, a living entity transmigrates from one form to another. His form changes according to destiny and by the arrangement of a superior authority which controls the interaction of air and the mental situation. Form is the combination of different types of sense perception. Predestined activities are the plans of the mental situation and the interaction of air. | | | El destino, la sensación del tacto, las interacciones del aire, y la situación de la mente, que es producto del elemento etéreo, nos hacen recibir un cuerpo, conforme a nuestras actividades anteriores. No es necesario señalar que la entidad viviente transmigra de una forma a otra. Su forma cambia conforme al destino y a las disposiciones de una autoridad superior que controla la interacción del aire y la situación mental. La forma es la combinación de percepciones sensoriales de distintos tipos. Las actividades predestinadas son los planes de la situación mental y la interacción del aire. | | |
