आमन्त्र्य तं मुनिवरमनुज्ञातः सहानुगः
प्रतस्थे रथमारुह्य सभार्यः स्वपुरं नृपः
उभयोरृषिकुल्यायाः सरस्वत्याः सुरोधसोः
ऋषीणामुपशान्तानां पश्यन्नाश्रमसम्पदः
āmantrya taṁ muni-varam
anujñātaḥ sahānugaḥ
pratasthe ratham āruhya
sabhāryaḥ sva-puraṁ nṛpaḥ
ubhayor ṛṣi-kulyāyāḥ
sarasvatyāḥ surodhasoḥ
ṛṣīṇām upaśāntānāṁ
paśyann āśrama-sampadaḥ

 | After asking and obtaining the great sage’s permission to leave, the monarch mounted his chariot with his wife and started for his capital, followed by his retinue. Along the way he saw the prosperity of the tranquil seers’ beautiful hermitages on both the charming banks of the Sarasvatī, the river so agreeable to saintly persons. | | | Después de pedir y obtener el permiso del gran sabio para irse, el monarca montó con su esposa en el carruaje y partió rumbo a su capital, seguido por su séquito. PURPORT — SIGNIFICADO
| | As cities are constructed in the modern age with great engineering and architectural craftsmanship, so in days gone by there were neighborhoods called ṛṣi-kulas, where great saintly persons resided. In India there are still many magnificent places for spiritual understanding; there are many ṛṣis and saintly persons living in nice cottages on the banks of the Ganges and Yamunā for purposes of spiritual cultivation. While passing through the ṛṣi-kulas the King and his party were very much satisfied with the beauty of the cottages and hermitages. It is stated here, paśyann āśrama-sampadaḥ. The great sages had no skyscrapers, but the hermitages were so beautiful that the King was very much pleased at the sight. | | | Tal como hoy en día se construyen ciudades con gran artificio arquitectónico y de ingeniería, en el pasado existían las vecindades denominadas ṛṣi-kulas, en donde residían grandes personas santas. En la India todavía hay muchos lugares magníficos que favorecen la comprensión espiritual; hay muchos ṛṣis y personas santas que, buscando el cultivo espiritual, viven en bonitas chozas a orillas del Ganges y del Yamunā. Mientras pasaban por los ṛṣi-kulas, el rey y su séquito estaban muy satisfechos con la belleza de las chozas y las ermitas. Aquí se dice paśyann āśrama-sampadaḥ.
