उपसङ्गम्य विप्रर्षिमधोमुख्यभ्यभाषत
ditis tu vrīḍitā tena
karmāvadyena bhārata
upasaṅgamya viprarṣim
adho-mukhy abhyabhāṣata

 | O son of the Bharata family, Diti, after this, went nearer to her husband, her face lowered because of her faulty action. She spoke as follows. | | | ¡Oh, hijo de la familia Bharata! Diti, tras esto, se acercó más a su esposo, con el rostro bajo por la falta que había cometido. Habló las siguientes palabras. | |
PURPORT — SIGNIFICADO
| | When one is ashamed of an abominable action, one naturally becomes down-faced. Diti came to her senses after the abominable sexual intercourse with her husband. Such sexual intercourse is condemned as prostitution. In other words, sex life with one’s wife is equal to prostitution if the regulations are not properly followed. | | | Cuando se está avergonzado por una acción abominable, naturalmente la persona baja la cabeza. Diti volvió a sus cabales tras la abominable relación sexual con su esposo. Las relaciones sexuales de ese tipo se condenan como prostitución. En otras palabras, si no se siguen adecuadamente las regulaciones, la vida sexual con la propia esposa equivale a prostitución. | | |
