विधुन्वता वेदमयं निजं वपुर्जनस्तपःसत्यनिवासिनो वयम्
सटाशिखोद्धूतशिवाम्बुबिन्दुभिर्विमृज्यमाना भृशमीश पाविताः
vidhunvatā vedamayaṁ nijaṁ vapur
janas-tapaḥ-satya-nivāsino vayam
saṭā-śikhoddhūta-śivāmbu-bindubhir
vimṛjyamānā bhṛśam īśa pāvitāḥ

 | O Supreme Lord, undoubtedly we are inhabitants of the most pious planets — the Jana, Tapas and Satya lokas — but still we have been purified by the drops of water sprinkled from Your shoulder hairs by the shaking of Your body. | | | ¡Oh, Señor Supremo! Sin duda somos habitantes de los planetas más piadosos, los lokas Jana, Tapa y Satya, pero, a pesar de ello, nos hemos purificado con las gotas de agua salpicadas de los pelos de Tu lomo cuando has sacudido Tu cuerpo. | |
PURPORT — SIGNIFICADO
| | Ordinarily the body of a hog is considered impure, but one should not consider that the hog incarnation assumed by the Lord is also impure. That form of the Lord is the personified Vedas and is transcendental. The inhabitants of the Jana, Tapas and Satya lokas are the most pious persons in the material world, but because those planets are situated in the material world, there are so many material impurities there also. Therefore, when the drops of water from the tips of the Lord’s shoulder hairs were sprinkled upon the bodies of the inhabitants of the higher planets, they felt purified. The Ganges water is pure because of its emanating from the toe of the Lord, and there is no difference between the water emanating from the toe and that from the tips of the hair on the shoulder of Lord Boar. They are both absolute and transcendental. | | | Por lo común, se considera impuro el cuerpo de un cerdo, pero no hay que pensar que la encarnación como cerdo que el Señor adoptó sea impura también. Esa forma del Señor es la personificación de los Vedas, y es trascendental. Los habitantes de los lokas Jana, Tapas y Satya son las personas más piadosas del mundo material, pero como esos planetas están dentro del mundo material, también hay en ellos muchas impurezas materiales.
