 | As long as Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa, the husband of the goddess of fortune, touched the earth with His lotus feet, Kali was powerless to subdue this planet. | | | Mientras el Señor Śrī Kṛṣṇa, el esposo de la diosa de la fortuna, tocó la Tierra con Sus pies de loto, Kali fue incapaz de someter a este planeta. | |
PURPORT — SIGNIFICADO
| | Although even during the time of Lord Kṛṣṇa’s presence on earth Kali had entered the earth to a slight extent through the impious activities of Duryodhana and his allies, Lord Kṛṣṇa consistently suppressed Kali’s influence. Kali could not flourish until Lord Kṛṣṇa had left the earth. | | | Aunque incluso durante la época de la presencia del Señor Kṛṣṇa en la Tierra, Kali ya había entrado en ella en pequeña medida debido a las actividades impías de Duryodhana y sus aliados, el Señor Kṛṣṇa suprimió constantemente la influencia de Kali.
