vālakhilyāḥ sahasrāṇi
ṣaṣṭir brahmarṣayo ’malāḥ
purato ’bhimukhaṁ yānti
stuvanti stutibhir vibhum

TRANSLATION — TRADUCCION

Facing the chariot, the sixty thousand brāhmaṇa sages known as Vālakhilyas travel in front and offer prayers to the almighty sun-god with Vedic mantras.Frente al carro, los sesenta mil sabios brāhmaṇas conocidos como Vālakhilyas viajan al frente y ofrecen oraciones al todopoderoso dios del Sol con mantras védicos.
