śrī-brāhmaṇa uvāca
parigraho hi duḥkhāya
yad yat priyatamaṁ nṛṇām
anantaṁ sukham āpnoti
tad vidvān yas tv akiñcanaḥ

TRANSLATION — TRADUCCION

The saintly brāhmaṇa said: Everyone considers certain things within the material world to be most dear to him, and because of attachment to such things one eventually becomes miserable. One who understands this gives up material possessiveness and attachment and thus achieves unlimited happiness.El brāhmaṇa santo dijo: Todo el mundo considera que ciertas cosas del mundo material son las más queridas para él, debido al apego a esas cosas, con el tiempo uno se vuelve miserable. Aquel que comprende esto abandona la posesividad y el apego materiales, de ese modo, alcanza la felicidad ilimitada.
