 | The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: My dear Uddhava, take My order and go to My āśrama called Badarikā. Purify yourself by both touching and also bathing in the holy waters there, which have emanated from My lotus feet. Rid yourself of all sinful reactions with the sight of the sacred Alakanandā River. Dress yourself in bark and eat whatever is naturally available in the forest. Thus you should remain content and free from desire, tolerant of all dualities, good-natured, self-controlled, peaceful and endowed with transcendental knowledge and realization. With fixed attention, meditate constantly upon these instructions I have imparted to you and assimilate their essence. Fix your words and thoughts upon Me, and always endeavor to increase your realization of My transcendental qualities. In this way you will cross beyond the destinations of the three modes of nature and finally come back to Me. | | | La Suprema Personalidad de Dios dijo: Mi querido Uddhava, acepta Mi orden y ve a Mi āśrama llamado Badarikā. Purifícate tocando y bañándote en las aguas sagradas que allí se encuentran, las cuales emanaron de Mis pies de loto. Libérate de todas las reacciones pecaminosas con la vista del sagrado río Alakanandā. Vístete con corteza de árbol y come solo lo que se encuentre naturalmente disponible en el bosque. De esa manera, debes permanecer contento y libre de deseos, tolerante con todas las dualidades, bondadoso, autocontrolado, pacífico y dotado de conocimiento y realización trascendentales. Con atención fija, medita constantemente en estas instrucciones que te impartí y asimila su esencia. Fija tus palabras y pensamientos en Mí y siempre esfuérzate por aumentar tu comprensión de Mis cualidades trascendentales. De esa manera, cruzarás más allá de los destinos de las tres modalidades de la naturaleza y finalmente regresarás a Mí. | |
