prāyaśaḥ puṇḍarīkākṣa
yuñjanto yogino manaḥ
viṣīdanty asamādhānān
mano-nigraha-karśitāḥ

TRANSLATION — TRADUCCION

O lotus-eyed Lord, generally those yogīs who try to steady the mind experience frustration because of their inability to perfect the state of trance. Thus they weary in their attempt to bring the mind under control.¡Oh, Señor de los ojos de loto!, por lo general, los yogīs que tratan de estabilizar la mente experimentan frustración debido a su incapacidad para perfeccionar el estado de trance. Por eso se cansan en su intento de controlar la mente.

PURPORT — SIGNIFICADO

Without the shelter of the Supreme Lord, a yogī easily becomes discouraged in the difficult task of fixing his mind on the Supreme.Sin el refugio del Señor Supremo, un yogī se desanima fácilmente en la difícil tarea de fijar su mente en el Supremo.
