śrī-sūta uvāca
ity etan muni-tanayāsya-padma-gandha
pīyūṣaṁ bhava-bhaya-bhit parasya puṁsaḥ
su-ślokaṁ śravaṇa-puṭaiḥ pibaty abhīkṣṇam
pāntho ’dhva-bhramaṇa-pariśramaṁ jahāti

TRANSLATION — TRADUCCION

Śrī Sūta Gosvāmī said: Thus did this fragrant nectar flow from the lotus mouth of Śukadeva Gosvāmī, the son of the sage Vyāsadeva. This wonderful glorification of the Supreme Person destroys all fear of material existence. A traveler who constantly drinks this nectar through his ear-holes will forget the fatigue brought on by wandering along the paths of worldly life.

Śrī Sūta Gosvāmī dijo: Así fluyó este néctar fragante de la boca de loto de Śukadeva Gosvāmī, el hijo del sabio Vyāsadeva. Esta maravillosa glorificación de la Persona Suprema destruye todo temor a la existencia material. Un viajero que bebe constantemente este néctar a través de los orificios de sus oídos olvidará la fatiga que produce el vagar por los senderos de la vida mundana.

PURPORT — SIGNIFICADO

	This narration by Śrīla Śukadeva Gosvāmī is precious in two ways: For those suffering from spiritual infirmity it is an effective tonic to cure the disease of illusion. And for surrendered Vaiṣṇavas it is a delicious and invigorating beverage, fragrant with the aroma of Śrī Śuka’s realizations.			Esta narración de Śrīla Śukadeva Gosvāmī es preciosa en dos sentidos: para quienes sufren de debilidad espiritual, es un tónico eficaz para curar la enfermedad de la ilusión. Para los vaiṣṇavas rendidos, es una bebida deliciosa y vigorizante, fragante con el aroma de las realizaciones de Śrī Śuka.
