“Then Śālva thought that Kṛṣṇa had been bewildered by his mystic representations, he became encouraged and began to attack the Lord with greater strength and energy by showering volumes of arrows upon Him. But the enthusiasm of Śālva can be compared to the speedy march of flies into a fire. Lord Kṛṣṇa, by hurling His arrows with unfathomable strength, injured Śālva, whose armor, bow and jeweled helmet all scattered into pieces. With a crashing blow from Kṛṣṇa’s club, Śālva’s wonderful airplane burst into pieces and fell into the sea.”

«Entonces Śālva pensó que Kṛṣṇa quedó desconcertado por sus representaciones místicas, se animó y comenzó a atacar al Señor con mayor fuerza y ​​energía, arrojando cantidades ingentes de flechas sobre Él. El entusiasmo de Śālva puede compararse con la veloz marcha de las moscas hacia el fuego. El Señor Kṛṣṇa, al lanzar Sus flechas con una fuerza insondable, hirió a Śālva, cuya armadura, arco y casco adornado con joyas se hicieron añicos. Con un golpe estrepitoso del garrote de Kṛṣṇa, el maravilloso avión de Śālva estalló en pedazos y cayó al mar».
