Now that the Rājasūya sacrifice had been completed and Śiśupāla killed, the Lord began to see inauspicious omens. So He took leave of the Kuru elders and the great sages, and also of Pṛthā and her sons, and returned to Dvārakā. | | Invitado por Yudhiṣṭhira, el hijo de Dharma, el Señor Kṛṣṇa fue a Indraprastha. Este señor de Saubha es un mago poderoso; no dejes que te confunda. | | | 10.77.11 | | Thus ordered, Dāruka took command of the Lord’s chariot and drove forth. As the chariot entered the battlefield, everyone there, both friend and foe, caught sight of the emblem of Garuḍa. | | Dāruka tomó el mando del carro del Señor y partió. Aunque te crees invencible, te mataré ahora si es que te atreves a ponerte ante mí. | | | 10.77.19 | | The Supreme Lord said: O dullard, you boast in vain, since you fail to see death standing near you. Real heroes do not talk much but rather show their prowess in action. | | El Señor Supremo dijo: ¡Oh, zoquete! Te jactas en vano ya que no ves que la muerte está cerca de ti. Los verdaderos héroes no hablan mucho, sino que muestran su destreza en la acción. | | | 10.77.20 | | Having said this, the furious Lord swung His club with frightening power and speed and hit Śālva on the collarbone, making him tremble and vomit blood. | | Dicho esto, el Señor furioso blandió su garrote con una fuerza y velocidad aterradoras y golpeó a Śālva en la clavícula, haciéndolo temblar y vomitar sangre. | | | 10.77.21 | | But as soon as Lord Acyuta withdrew His club, Śālva disappeared from sight, and a moment later a man approached the Lord. Śālva has seized Your father and taken him away, as a butcher leads an animal to slaughter. | | [El hombre dijo:] ¡Oh, Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa, el de los poderosos brazos, que eres tan afectuoso con Tus padres! Śālva apresó a Tu padre y se lo llevó, tal como un carnicero lleva a un animal al matadero. | | | 10.77.23 | | When He heard this disturbing news, Lord Kṛṣṇa, who was playing the role of a mortal man, showed sorrow and compassion, and out of love for His parents He spoke the following words like an ordinary conditioned soul. | | Cuando escuchó esta inquietante noticia, el Señor Kṛṣṇa, que representaba el papel de un hombre mortal, mostró tristeza y compasión, por amor a Sus padres, pronunció las siguientes palabras como si fuera un alma condicionada ordinaria. | | | 10.77.24 | | [Lord Kṛṣṇa said:] Balarāma is ever vigilant, and no demigod or demon can defeat Him. So how could this insignificant Śālva defeat Him and abduct My father? Indeed, fate is all-powerful! | | [El Señor Kṛṣṇa dijo:] Balarāma está siempre alerta, ningún semidiós o demonio puede derrotarlo. Entonces, ¿cómo pudo este insignificante Śālva derrotarlo y raptar a Mi padre? ¡En verdad, el destino es todopoderoso! | | | 10.77.25 | | After Govinda spoke these words, the master of Saubha again appeared, apparently leading Vasudeva before the Lord. Taking the head with him, he entered the Saubha vehicle, which was hovering in the sky. | | Después de burlarse del Señor de esa manera, el mago Śālva apareció para cortarle la cabeza a Vasudeva con su espada. Llevándose la cabeza, entró en el vehículo Saubha, que flotaba en el cielo. | | | 10.77.28 | | By nature Lord Kṛṣṇa is full in knowledge, and He possesses unlimited powers of perception. Yet for a moment, out of great affection for His loved ones, He remained absorbed in the mood of an ordinary human being. He soon recalled, however, that this was all a demoniac illusion engineered by Maya Dānava and employed by Śālva. | | Por naturaleza, el Señor Krishna posee pleno conocimiento y poderes ilimitados de percepción. Sin embargo, por un momento, debido al gran afecto que sentía por Sus seres amados, permaneció absorto en el estado de ánimo de un ser humano común. It was as if He had awakened from a dream. Seeing His enemy flying above Him in his Saubha plane, the Lord then prepared to kill him. | | Ahora, consciente de la situación verdadera, el Señor Acyuta no vio ni al mensajero ni el cuerpo de Su padre frente a Él en el campo de batalla. Thus they attain eternal glory in His personal association. How, then, can that Supreme Truth, the destination of all genuine saints, be subject to illusion? | | En virtud de la autorrealización fortalecida por el servicio prestado a Sus pies, los devotos del Señor disipan el concepto corporal de la vida, que confunde al alma desde tiempo inmemorial. Then with His club the Lord smashed His enemy’s Saubha airship. | | Mientras Śālva continuaba lanzándole torrentes de armas con gran fuerza, el Señor Kṛṣṇa, cuya destreza nunca falla, disparó Sus flechas a Śālva, hiriéndolo y destrozando su armadura, su arco y la joya de su cimera. Śālva abandoned it, stationed himself on the ground, took up his club and rushed toward Lord Acyuta. | | La aeronave Saubha, que fue destrozada en miles de pedazos por el garrote del Señor Krishna, se precipitó al agua. Having finally decided to kill Śālva, Kṛṣṇa then raised His Sudarśana disc weapon, which resembled the sun at the time of universal annihilation. The brilliantly shining Lord appeared like the easternmost mountain bearing the rising sun. | | Mientras Śālva se precipitaba hacia Él, el Señor disparó un dardo bhalla y le cortó el brazo que sostenía el garrote.
