na vai te ’jita bhaktānāṁ
mamāham iti mādhava
tvaṁ taveti ca nānā-dhīḥ

 | O unconquerable Mādhava, even Your devotees make no distinctions of “I” and “mine,” “you” and “yours,” for this is the perverted mentality of animals. | | | ¡Oh invencible Mādhava!, ni siquiera Tus devotos hacen distinciones entre «yo» y «mío», ni entre «tú» y «tuyo», porque ésa es la mentalidad pervertida de los animales. | |
PURPORT — SIGNIFICADO
| | An ordinary person thinks, “I am so attractive, intelligent and wealthy that people should simply serve me and do what I want. Why should I obey anyone else?” This proud, separatist mentality is also found in animals who battle one another for supremacy. Such a mentality is conspicuously absent in the mind of an advanced devotee, and it is certainly absent in the sublime, omniscient mind of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. | | | Una persona común y corriente piensa: «Soy tan atractivo, inteligente y rico que la gente simplemente debería servirme y hacer lo que quiero. ¿Por qué debería obedecer a alguien más?» Esa mentalidad orgullosa y separatista también se encuentra en los animales que luchan entre sí por la supremacía. Esa mentalidad está notoriamente ausente en la mente de un devoto avanzado y ciertamente también está ausente en la mente sublime y omnisciente de la Suprema Personalidad de Dios. | | |
