vasitvā vāsasī nīle
mālāṁ āmucya kāñcanīm
reye sv-alaṅkṛto lipto
māhendra iva vāraṇaḥ

TRANSLATION — TRADUCCION

Lord Balarāma dressed Himself in the blue garments and put on the gold necklace. Anointed with fragrances and beautifully adorned, He appeared as resplendent as Indra’s royal elephant.

El Señor Balarāma Se vistió con ropas azules y se puso el collar de oro. Ungido con fragancias y bellamente adornado, apareció tan resplandeciente como el elefante real de Indra.

PURPORT — SIGNIFICADO

	Anointed with sandalwood paste and other pure, fragrant substances, Balarāma resembled Airāvata, the great elephant of Lord Indra.			Ungido con pasta de sándalo y otras substancias puras y fragantes, Balarāma se parecía a Airāvata, el gran elefante del Señor Indra.
