tapaḥ-śraddhā-yuto dhīro
niḥsaṅgo mukta-saṁśayaḥ
samādhāya manaḥ kṛṣṇe
prāviśad gandhamādanam

TRANSLATION — TRADUCCION

The sober King, beyond material association and free of doubt, was convinced of the value of austerity. Absorbing his mind in Lord Kṛṣṇa, he came to Gandhamādana Mountain.El sobrio rey, más allá de toda asociación material y libre de dudas, estaba convencido del valor de la austeridad. Absorbiendo su mente en el Señor Kṛṣṇa, llegó a la montaña Gandhamādana.

PURPORT — SIGNIFICADO

The name Gandhamādana indicates a place of delightful fragrances. Undoubtedly Gandhamādana was filled with the aroma of wild flowers and forest honey, and with other natural scents.El nombre Gandhamādana indica un lugar de deliciosas fragancias. Sin duda, Gandhamādana estaba lleno del aroma de flores silvestres, de miel del bosque y otros aromas naturales.
