uvāsa katicin māsān
gopīnāṁ vinudan śucaḥ
kṛṣṇa-līlā-kathāṁ gāyan
ramayām āsa gokulam

Uddhava remained there for several months, dispelling the gopīs’ sorrow by chanting the topics of Lord Kṛṣṇa’s pastimes. Thus he brought joy to all the people of Gokula.

Uddhava permaneció allí durante varios meses, disipando el dolor de las gopīs cantando los temas de los pasatiempos del Señor Kṛṣṇa. Así trajo alegría a todo el pueblo de Gokula.

PURPORT — SIGNIFICADO

	The great ācārya Jīva Gosvāmī comments in this regard that Uddhava, during his stay in Vṛndāvana, certainly took special care to enliven Kṛṣṇa’s foster parents, Nanda and Yaśodā.			El gran ācārya Jīva Gosvāmī comenta a este respecto que Uddhava, durante su estancia en Vṛndāvana, ciertamente tuvo especial cuidado en animar a los padres adoptivos de Kṛṣṇa, Nanda y Yaśodā.
