tat kṣantum arhathas tāta
mātar nau para-tantrayoḥ
akurvator vāṁ śuśrūṣāṁ
kliṣṭayor durhṛdā bhṛśam

TRANSLATION — TRADUCCION

Dear Father and Mother, please forgive Us for not serving you. We are not independent and have been greatly frustrated by cruel Kaṁsa.

Queridos Padre y Madre, por favor perdónanos por no haberles servido. No somos independientes y el cruel Kaṁsa nos frustró mucho.

PURPORT — SIGNIFICADO

	According to Sanskrit grammar, the words para-tantrayoḥ and kliṣṭayoḥ may also refer to Vasudeva and Devakī. Actually, Vasudeva and Devakī were under the control of Providence and were disturbed by the activities of Kaṁsa, whereas Śrī Kṛṣṇa is always the absolute Personality of Godhead.			Según la gramática sánscrita, las palabras para-tantrayoḥ y kliṣṭayoḥ también pueden referirse a Vasudeva y Devakī. En realidad, Vasudeva y Devakī estaban bajo el control de la Providencia y estaban perturbados por las actividades de Kaṁsa, mientras que Śrī Kṛṣṇa es siempre la absoluta Personalidad de Dios.
