tasya cākranditaṁ śrutvā
gopālāḥ sahasotthitāḥ
grastaṁ ca dṛṣṭvā vibhrāntāḥ
sarpaṁ vivyadhur ulmukaiḥ

TRANSLATION — TRADUCCION

When the cowherd men heard the cries of Nanda, they immediately rose up and saw that he was being swallowed. Distraught, they beat the serpent with blazing torches.Cuando los vaqueros escucharon los gritos de Nanda, inmediatamente se levantaron y vieron que estaba siendo tragado. Angustiados, golpearon a la serpiente con antorchas encendidas.
