purānena vraja-pate
sādhavo dasyu-pīḍitāḥ
arājake rakṣyamāṇā
jigyur dasyūn samedhitāḥ

TRANSLATION — TRADUCCION

O Nanda Mahārāja, as recorded in history, when there was an irregular, incapable government, Indra having been dethroned, and when honest people were being harassed and disturbed by thieves, this child appeared in order to curb the rogues and to protect the people and enable them to flourish.¡Oh, Nanda Mahārāja, tal como está registrado en la historia, cuando había un gobierno irregular e incapaz, después de haber destronado a Indra y cuando la gente honesta estaba siendo acosada y perturbada por ladrones, este niño apareció para frenar a los pícaros y proteger a la gente y permitirles florecer.
