 | When the cows saw their own calves from the top of Govardhana Hill, they forgot themselves and their caretakers because of increased affection, and although the path was very rough, they ran toward their calves with great anxiety, each running as if with one pair of legs. Their milk bags full and flowing with milk, their heads and tails raised, and their humps moving with their necks, they ran forcefully until they reached their calves to feed them. | | | Cuando vieron a sus terneros desde lo alto de la colina Govardhana, las vacas se olvidaron de sí mismas y de sus cuidadores debido a un cariño extraordinario, y aunque el camino era muy accidentado, corrieron hacia sus terneros llenas de ansiedad, como si sólo tuviesen un par de patas. Con la ubre llena y rezumando leche, la cabeza y la cola muy levantada y la joroba sacudiéndose al compás del cuello, se lanzaron por la pendiente hasta llegar a sus terneros, deseosas de alimentarlos. | |

| | Generally the calves and cows are pastured separately. The elderly men take care of the cows, and the small children see to the calves. This time, however, the cows immediately forgot their position as soon as they saw the calves below Govardhana Hill, and they ran with great force, their tails erect and their front and hind legs joined, until they reached their calves. | | | Generalmente, los terneros y las vacas pastan separados. Los vaqueros adultos cuidan de las vacas, y los niños pequeños de los terneros. Sin embargo, en esta ocasión, las vacas olvidaron su posición nada más ver a los terneros al pie de la colina Govardhana, y se echaron a correr con muchísima fuerza, con la cola tiesa y las patas delanteras y traseras juntas, hasta llegar a sus terneros. | | |
