प्रह्वाभिवादनाश्लेषकरस्पर्शस्मितेक्षणैः
आश्वास्य चाश्वपाकेभ्यो वरैश्चाभिमतैर्विभुः

āśvāsya cāśvapākebhyo
varaiś cābhimatair vibhuḥ

 | The almighty Lord greeted everyone present by bowing His head, exchanging greetings, embracing, shaking hands, looking and smiling, giving assurances and awarding benedictions, even to the lowest in rank. | | | El Todopoderoso Señor saludó a todos los presentes inclinando la cabeza, intercambiando saludos, abrazando, estrechando manos, mirando y sonriendo, dando garantías y otorgando bendiciones, incluso a los de más bajo rango. | |
PURPORT — SIGNIFICADO
| | To receive the Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa there were all grades of population, beginning from Vasudeva, Ugrasena and Gargamuni — the father, grandfather and teacher — down to the prostitutes and caṇḍālas, who are accustomed to eat dogs. And every one of them was properly greeted by the Lord in terms of rank and position. As pure living entities, all are the separated parts and parcels of the Lord, and thus no one is alien by His eternal relation. Such pure living entities are graded differently in terms of contamination of the modes of material nature, but the Lord is equally affectionate to all His parts and parcels, despite material gradation. He descends only to recall these materialistic living beings back to His kingdom, and intelligent persons take advantage of this facility offered by the Personality of Godhead to all living beings. No one is rejected by the Lord from the kingdom of God, and it remains with the living being to accept this or not. | | | Para recibir al Señor Śrī Kṛṣṇa estaban presentes personas de todas las categorías, desde Vasudeva, Ugrasena y Gargamuni - el padre, el abuelo y el maestro - , hasta las prostitutas y caṇḍālas, siendo estos últimos los que acostumbran a comer perros. Y a cada uno de ellos el Señor lo saludó debidamente, en función del rango y la posición. En su condición pura, todas las entidades vivientes son partes integrales del Señor separadas de Él, y por ende nadie es ajeno al Señor, debido a la relación eterna que todos tiene con Él. Esas entidades vivientes puras se clasifican de un modo diferente en función de la contaminación de las modalidades de la naturaleza material, pero el Señor es igualmente afectuoso con todas Sus partes integrales, pese a la clasificación material. Él desciende únicamente para hacer que esos seres vivientes materialistas regresen a Su Reino, y las personas inteligentes aprovechan esa facilidad que la Personalidad de Dios les ofrece a todos los seres vivientes. El Señor no rechaza a nadie del Reino de Dios, y queda en manos del ser viviente el aceptarlo o no. | | |
