Durante demasiado tiempo has profanado este bosque devorando a hombres inocentes pero ahora en un sólo instante voy a liberar al bosque de su dolorosa plaga.
| | | "Even though an elephant is as big as a hill, a powerful lions kills it and drags it over the land. So today your sister will see you killed and dragged by me across this earth. When I slay you, O disgrace of the Raksasas, the men who live in this forest will wander here free of harassment."
| | "A pesar de que un elefante sea tan grande como una colina, poderosos leones lo matan y lo arrastran por el suelo. Por lo que hoy tu hermana verá como te mato y te arrastro por la tierra, cuando te mate, ¡oh vergüenza de los Raksasas!, los hombres que vivan en este bosque pasearán por aquí libres de hostigamiento".

But when I have drunk the blood of your limbs, then I shall slay these others, and I shall murder this woman who dares disgust me."
| | Hidimba dijo: "¿Para qué es todo tu inútil bramido y jactancia, hijo de hombre?, ¡primero haz todo lo que dices y habla con la acción!, no continues alardeando en vano y por siempre. Piensas que eres fuerte e invencible pero ahora sabrás en la batalla que soy más fuerte que tú. Me ofendes con tus palabras tonto, pero te prometo que no voy a matar a estar personas que duermen felizmente aquí hasta que primero te haya matado, ya que haya bebido la sangre de tus miembros luego voy a matar a los demás y mataré a esta mujer quien se atrevió a disgustarme".
