9.1	The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: My dear Arjuna, because you are never envious of Me, I shall impart to you this most conﬁdential knowledge and realization, knowing which you shall be relieved of the miseries of material existence.	La Suprema Personalidad de Dios dijo: Mi querido Arjuna, debido a que nunca Me envidias, Yo te impartiré este conocimiento y esta realización tan confidenciales, sabiendo que serás liberado de las miserias de la existencia material.

9.2	This knowledge is the king of education, the most secret of all secrets. It is the purest knowledge, and because it gives direct perception of the self by realization, it is the perfection of religion. It is everlasting, and it is joyfully performed.	Este conocimiento es el rey de la educación, el más secreto de todos los secretos. Es el conocimiento más puro y debido a que da la percepción directa del yo mediante la realización, es la perfección de la religión. Es eterno y se ejecuta alegremente.

9.3	Those who are not faithful in this devotional service cannot attain Me, O conqueror of enemies. Therefore they return to the path of birth and death in this material world.	Aquellos que no son fieles en el sendero del servicio devocional no Me pueden alcanzar, ¡oh conquistador de los enemigos!. Por lo tanto, regresan al sendero del nacimiento y la muerte en este mundo material.

9.4	By Me, in My unmanifested form, this entire universe is pervaded. All beings are in Me, but I am not in them.	Por Mí, en Mi forma no manifiesta todo este universo es impregnado. Todos los seres están en Mí, pero Yo no estoy en ellos.

9.5	And yet everything that is created does not rest in Me. Behold My mystic opulence! Although I am the maintainer of all living entities and although I am everywhere, I am not a part of this cosmic manifestation, for My Self is the very source of creation.	Y aún así, todo lo que está creado no descansa en Mí. ¡He aquí Mi opulencia mística! Aunque soy el que mantiene a todas las entidades vivientes y aunque estoy en todas partes, no soy parte de esta manifestación cósmica, porque Mi Yo es la fuente misma de la creación.

9.6	Understand that as the mighty wind, blowing everywhere, rests always in the sky, all created beings rest in Me.	Comprende que así como el poderoso viento soplando por doquier permanece siempre en el cielo, todos los seres creados descansan en Mí.

9.7	O son of Kuntī, at the end of the millennium all material manifestations enter into My nature, and at the beginning of another millennium, by My potency, I create them again.	¡Oh hijo de Kuntī!, al final del milenio toda la manifestación material entra en Mi naturaleza y al comenzar otro milenio, mediante Mi potencia, Yo la creo de nuevo.

9.8	The whole cosmic order is under Me. Under My will it is automatically manifested again and again, and under My will it is annihilated at the end.	El orden cósmico entero está bajo Mí, por Mi Voluntad se manifiesta una y otra vez y bajo Mi voluntad es aniquilado al final.

9.9	O Dhanañjaya, all this work cannot bind Me. I am ever detached from all these material activities, seated as though neutral.	¡Oh Dhanañjaya!, todo este trabajo no puede atarme. Yo estoy siempre desapegado de todas estas actividades materiales, sentado como si fuera neutral.

9.10	This material nature, which is one of My energies, is working under My direction, O son of Kuntī, producing all moving and nonmoving beings. Under its rule this manifestation is created and annihilated again and again.	¡Oh hijo de Kuntī!, esta naturaleza material, que es una de Mis energías, funciona bajo Mi dirección y produce a todos los seres móviles e inmóviles. Por orden suya, esta manifestación es creada y aniquilada una y otra vez.

9.11	Fools deride Me when I descend in the human form. They do not know My transcendental nature as the Supreme Lord of all that be.	Los necios Me menosprecian cuando desciendo en una forma humana. Ellos no conocen Mi naturaleza trascendental como el Señor Supremo de todo lo que existe.

9.12	Those who are thus bewildered are attracted by demonic and atheistic views. In that deluded condition, their hopes for liberation, their fruitive activities, and their culture of knowledge are all defeated.	Aquellos que están confundidos son atraídos por las opiniones ateas y demoníacas. En esa condición alucinada sus esperanzas de liberación, sus actividades fruitivas y su cultivo del conocimiento, son totalmente frustrados.

9.13	O son of Pṛthā, those who are not deluded, the great souls, are under the protection of the divine nature. They are fully engaged in devotional service because they know Me as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, original and inexhaustible.	¡Oh hijo de Pṛthā!, aquellos que no están alucinados, las grandes almas, están bajo la protección de la naturaleza divina. Ellos se ocupan totalmente en el servicio devocional porque Me conocen como la Suprema Personalidad de Dios, original e inagotable.

9.14	Always chanting My glories, endeavoring with great determination, bowing down before Me, these great souls perpetually worship Me with devotion.	Siempre cantando Mis glorias, esforzándose con gran determinación y postrándose ante Mí, estas grandes almas Me adoran perpetuamente con devoción.

9.15	Others, who engage in sacriﬁce by the cultivation of knowledge, worship the Supreme Lord as the one without a second, as diverse in many, and in the universal form.	Otros, quienes se ocupan en el cultivo del conocimiento, adoran al Señor Supremo como el uno sin segundo, diversificado en muchos y en la forma universal.

9.16	But it is I who am the ritual, I the sacriﬁce, the offering to the ancestors, the healing herb, the transcendental chant. I am the butter and the ﬁre and the offering.	Mas Yo soy el ritual, el sacrificio, la ofrenda a los antepasados, la hierba medicinal y el canto trascendental. Yo soy la mantequilla, el fuego y la ofrenda.

9.17	I am the father of this universe, the mother, the support and the grandsire. I am the object of knowledge, the puriﬁer and the syllable oṁ. I am also the Ṛg, the Sāma and the Yajur Vedas.	Yo soy el padre de este universo, la madre, el sostén y el abuelo. Yo soy el objeto del conocimiento, el purificador y la sílaba oṁ. También Soy el Ṛg, el Sāma y el Yajur Vedas.

9.18	I am the goal, the sustainer, the master, the witness, the abode, the refuge and the most dear friend. I am the creation and the annihilation, the basis of everything, the resting place and the eternal seed.	Yo soy la meta, el sustentador, el amo, el testigo, la morada, el refugio y el amigo más querido. Yo soy la creación y la aniquilación, el fundamento de todas las cosas, el lugar de reposo y la semilla eterna.

9.19	O Arjuna, I give heat, and I withhold and send forth the rain. I am immortality, and I am also death personiﬁed. Both spirit and matter are in Me.	¡Oh Arjuna! Yo doy el calor, retengo y envío la lluvia. Yo soy la inmortalidad y también Soy la muerte personificada. Tanto el espíritu como la materia están en Mí.

9.20	Those who study the Vedas and drink the soma juice, seeking the heavenly planets, worship Me indirectly. Puriﬁed of sinful reactions, they take birth on the pious, heavenly planet of Indra, where they enjoy godly delights.	Aquellos que estudian los Vedas y beben el jugo de soma buscando los planetas celestiales, Me adoran indirectamente. Purificados de reacciones pecaminosas, nacen en el piadoso y celestial planeta de Indra donde disfrutan de los deleites celestiales.

9.21	When they have thus enjoyed vast heavenly sense pleasure and the results of their pious activities are exhausted, they return to this mortal planet again. Thus those who seek sense enjoyment by adhering to the principles of the three Vedas achieve only repeated birth and death.	Cuando ellos han disfrutado así el placer celestial de los sentidos celestiales y se han agotado los resultados de sus actividades piadosas, retornan nuevamente a este planeta mortal. Así, aquellos que buscan el disfrute de los sentidos adhiriéndose a los principios de los tres Vedas sólo logran nacimientos y muertes repetidos.

9.22	But those who always worship Me with exclusive devotion, meditating on My transcendental form – to them I carry what they lack, and I preserve what they have.	Pero a aquellos que siempre Me adoran con devoción exclusiva, meditando en Mi forma trascendental, les llevo lo que les hace falta y les preservo lo que poseen.

9.23	Those who are devotees of other gods and who worship them with faith actually worship only Me, O son of Kuntī, but they do so in a wrong way.	Aquellos que son devotos de otros dioses y los adoran con fe, en realidad sólo Me adoran a Mí, oh hijo de Kuntī, pero lo hacen sin verdadera comprensión.

9.24	I am the only enjoyer and master of all sacriﬁces. Therefore, those who do not recognize My true transcendental nature fall down.	Yo soy el único disfrutador y amo de todos los sacrificios. Por lo tanto, aquellos que no reconocen Mi verdadera naturaleza trascendental, caen.

9.25	Those who worship the demigods will take birth among the demigods; those who worship the ancestors go to the ancestors; those who worship ghosts and spirits will take birth among such beings; and those who worship Me will live with Me.	Aquellos que adoran a los semidioses, nacerán entre los semidioses; aquellos que adoran a los fantasmas y espíritus, nacerán entre tales seres; aquellos que adoran a los antepasados, irán a los antepasados; y aquellos que Me adoran a Mí, vivirán conmigo.

9.26	If one offers Me with love and devotion a leaf, a ﬂower, a fruit or water, I will accept it.	Si alguien Me ofrece con amor y devoción una hoja, una flor, fruta o agua Yo lo aceptaré.

9.27	Whatever you do, whatever you eat, whatever you offer or give away, and whatever austerities you perform – do that, O son of Kuntī, as an offering to Me.	¡Oh hijo de Kuntī!, todo lo que hagas, todo lo que comas, todo lo que ofrezcas y regales, así como también todas las austeridades que ejecutes, debes hacerlas como una ofrenda a Mí.

9.28	In this way you will be freed from bondage to work and its auspicious and inauspicious results. With your mind ﬁxed on Me in this principle of renunciation, you will be liberated and come to Me.	De esta forma tú serás liberado de la esclavitud del trabajo y de sus resultados auspiciosos y desfavorables. Con tu mente fijada en Mí en este principio de renunciación, serás liberado y vendrás a Mí.

9.29	I envy no one, nor am I partial to anyone. I am equal to all. But whoever renders service unto Me in devotion is a friend, is in Me, and I am also a friend to him.	Yo no envidio a nadie, ni Soy parcial con nadie. Yo soy igual para con todos, pero aquel que Me rinde servicio con devoción es Mi amigo, está en Mí y Yo también soy amigo de él.

9.30	Even if one commits the most abominable action, if he is engaged in devotional service he is to be considered saintly because he is properly situated in his determination.	Incluso si alguien comete las acciones más abominables, si él está consagrado al servicio devocional, se le debe considerar un santo pues está debidamente situado en su determinación.

9.31	He quickly becomes righteous and attains lasting peace. O son of Kuntī, declare it boldly that My devotee never perishes.	Prontamente él se torna virtuoso y alcanza la paz perdurable. ¡Oh hijo de Kuntī!, declara osadamente que Mi devoto jamás perece.

9.32	O son of Pṛthā, those who take shelter in Me, though they be of lower birth – women, vaiśyas [merchants] and śūdras [workers] – can attain the supreme destination.	¡Oh hijo de Pṛthā!, aquellos que se refugian en Mí, aunque sean de un nacimiendo inferior -mujeres, vaiśyas (mercaderes), así como también los śudras (obreros)- pueden acercarse al destino supremo.

9.33	How much more this is so of the righteous brāhmaṇas, the devotees and the saintly kings. Therefore, having come to this temporary, miserable world, engage in loving service unto Me.	¡Cuanto más ocurre esto con los brāhmaṇas, los virtuosos, los devotos y los reyes santos! Por lo tanto habiendo venido a este mundo temporal y miserable, ocúpate en el amoroso servicio a Mí.

9.34	Engage your mind always in thinking of Me, become My devotee, offer obeisances to Me and worship Me. Being completely absorbed in Me, surely you will come to Me.	Ocupa siempre tu mente en pensar en Mí y conviértete en Mi devoto; ofréceme reverencias y adórame. Estando completamente absorto en Mí, seguramente tú vendrás a Mí.
