यत्र काले त्वनावृत्तिमावृत्तिं चैव योगिन: ।
प्रयाता यान्ति तं कालं वक्ष्यामि भरतर्षभ ॥ २३ ॥
yatra kāle tv anāvṛttim
āvṛttiṁ caiva yoginaḥ
prayātā yānti taṁ kālaṁ
vakṣyāmi bharatarṣabha

TRANSLATION — TRADUCCION
 | O best of the Bhāratas, I shall now explain to you the different times at which, passing away from this world, the yogī does or does not come back.
| | ¡Oh, el mejor de los Bhāratas!, ahora te explicaré los diferentes momentos en los cuales al abandonar este mundo, se regresa o no se regresa.

PURPORT — SIGNIFICADO
| | The unalloyed devotees of the Supreme Lord, who are totally surrendered souls, do not care when they leave their bodies or by what method. They leave everything in Kṛṣṇa’s hands and so easily and happily return to Godhead. But those who are not unalloyed devotees and who depend instead on such methods of spiritual realization as karma-yoga, jñāna-yoga and haṭha-yoga must leave the body at a suitable time in order to be sure of whether or not they will return to the world of birth and death.
| | Los devotos impolutos del Señor Supremo los cuales son almas totalmente rendidas, no se preocupan de cuando van a dejar sus cuerpos o mediante que método. Ellos dejan todo en las manos de Kṛṣṇa, de esta manera regresan fácil y felizmente a Dios. Pero aquellos que no son devotos impolutos y que en vez de eso dependen de métodos de realización espiritual tales como karma-yoga, jñāna-yoga y haṭha-yoga, etc., deben abandonar el cuerpo en un momento apropiado y de esa forma estar seguros de que regresarán o no a este mundo de nacimiento y muerte.
| | | If the yogī is perfect he can select the time and situation for leaving this material world. But if he is not so expert his success depends on his accidentally passing away at a certain suitable time. The suitable times at which one passes away and does not come back are explained by the Lord in the next verse. According to Ācārya Baladeva Vidyābhūṣaṇa, the Sanskrit word kāla used herein refers to the presiding deity of time.
| | Si el yogi es perfecto, puede seleccionar el tiempo y el lugar para abandonar este mundo material ' pero si él no es tan perfecto, entonces tendrá que irse de acuerdo a la voluntad de la naturaleza. El Señor explica en estos versos el momento más apropiado para abandonar el cuerpo y no regresar. De acuerdo al Ācārya Baladeva Vidyābhūṣaṇa, la palabra sánscrita ka/a que se usa aquí, se refiere a la deidad regente del tiempo.
