सखेति मत्वा परसभं यद उक्तं; हे कृष्ण हे यादव हे सखेति अजानता महिमानं तवेदं; मया परमादात परणयेन वापि यच चावहासार्थम असत्कृतॊ ऽसि; विहारशय्यासनभॊजनेषु एकॊ ऽथ वाप्य अच्युत तत्समक्षं; तत कषामये तवाम अहम अप्रमेयम

TRANSLATION TRADUCCION
| Thinking of You as my friend, I have rashly addressed You “O Kṛṣṇa,” “O Yādava,” “O my friend,” not knowing Your glories. Please forgive whatever I may have done in madness or in love. I have dishonored You many times, jesting as we relaxed, lay on the same bed, or sat or ate together, sometimes alone and sometimes in front of many friends. O infallible one, please excuse me for all those offenses.
| | Pensando en Ti como mi amigo, imprudentemente te he dirigido «Oh Kṛṣṇa», «Oh Yādava», «Oh mi amigo», sin conocer Tus glorias. Por favor perdona cualquier cosa que haya hecho por locura o por amor. Te he deshonrado muchas veces mientras descansábamos o mientras nos recostábamos en el mismo lecho o comíamos juntos, a veces solos y a veces delante de muchos amigos. Oh infalible, por favor discúlpame por todas esas ofensas.

PURPORT SIGNIFICADO
| Although Kṛṣṇa is manifested before Arjuna in His universal form, Arjuna remembers his friendly relationship with Kṛṣṇa and is therefore asking pardon and requesting Kṛṣṇa to excuse him for the many informal gestures which arise out of friendship. He is admitting that formerly he did not know that Kṛṣṇa could assume such a universal form, although Kṛṣṇa explained it as his intimate friend. Arjuna did not know how many times he may have dishonored Kṛṣṇa by addressing Him “O my friend,” “O Kṛṣṇa,” “O Yādava,” etc., without acknowledging His opulence. But Kṛṣṇa is so kind and merciful that in spite of such opulence He played with Arjuna as a friend. Such is the transcendental loving reciprocation between the devotee and the Lord. The relationship between the living entity and Kṛṣṇa is fixed eternally; it cannot be forgotten, as we can see from the behavior of Arjuna. Although Arjuna has seen the opulence in the universal form, he cannot forget his friendly relationship with Kṛṣṇa.
| | Aunque Kṛṣṇa Se manifiesta ante Arjuna en Su forma universal, Arjun a recuerda su relación amistosa con Kṛṣṇa, por ello Le pide que lo perdone por el comportamiento informal que surge de la amistad. El admite que no sabía que Kṛṣṇa pudiera asumir tal forma universal, aunque Kṛṣṇa, como su amigo íntimo, se la había explicado. Arjuna no sabía cuantas veces lo pudo haber ofendido dirigiéndose a El como «¡Oh mi amigo! ¡oh Kṛṣṇa! ¡oh Yadava!» etc., sin reconocer Su opulencia. Pero Kṛṣṇa es tan bondadoso y misericordioso que a pesar de tal opulencia, El jugaba con Arjuna como un amigo. Así es la reciprocidad amorosa trascendental entre el devoto y el Señor. La relación entre la entidad viviente y Kṛṣṇa está fija eternamente; no se puede olvidar, tal como podemos ver en el comportamiento de Arjuna. Aunque Arjuna vió la opulencia de la forma universal, no pudo olvidar su relación amistosa con Kṛṣṇa.
