संजय उवाच
एतच छरुत्वा वचनं केशवस्य; कृताञ्जलिर वेपमानः किरीटी
नमस्कृत्वा भूय एवाह कृष्णं; सगद्गदं भीतभीतः परणम्य
sañjaya uvāca
etac chrutvā vacanaṁ keśavasya
kṛtāñjalir vepamānaḥ kirīṭī
namaskṛtvā bhūya evāha kṛṣṇaṁ
sa-gadgadaṁ bhīta-bhītaḥ praṇamya

TRANSLATION — TRADUCCION
 | Sañjaya said to Dhṛtarāṣṭra: O King, after hearing these words from the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the trembling Arjuna offered obeisances with folded hands again and again. He fearfully spoke to Lord Kṛṣṇa in a faltering voice, as follows.
| | Sañjaya le dijo a Dhṛtarāṣṭra: ¡Oh rey!, después de oír estas palabras de parte de la Suprema Personalidad de Dios, Arjuna, temblando, ofreció temerosamente sus reverencias con las manos juntas una y otra vez. Temeroso, le habló al Señor Kṛṣṇa con voz entrecortada, de la siguiente manera:

PURPORT — SIGNIFICADO
| | As we have already explained, because of the situation created by the universal form of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Arjuna became bewildered in wonder; thus he began to offer his respectful obeisances to Kṛṣṇa again and again, and with faltering voice he began to pray, not as a friend, but as a devotee in wonder.
| | Como ya hemos explicado, debido a la situación creada por la forma universal de la Suprema Personalidad de Dios, Arjuna se pasmó de asombro; así comenzó a ofrecerle sus reverencias respetuosas a Kṛṣṇa una y otra vez y con una voz balbuciente empezó a orar, no como un amigo, sino como un devoto maravillado.
