पवनः पवताम अस्मि रामः शस्त्रभृताम अहम
झषाणां मकरश चास्मि सरॊतसाम अस्मि जाह्नवी

pavanaḥ pavatām asmi
rāmaḥ śastra-bhṛtām aham
jhaṣāṇāṁ makaraś cāsmi
srotasām asmi jāhnavī

śastra-bhṛtām		of the carriers of weapons

srotasām		of ﬂowing rivers

jāhnavī		the river Ganges

TRANSLATION — TRADUCCION

Of puriﬁers I am the wind, of the wielders of weapons I am Rāma, of ﬁshes I am the shark, and of ﬂowing rivers I am the Ganges.

De los purificadores Soy el viento; de los esgrimidores de armas Yo soy Rāma; de los peces Soy el tiburón; y de los ríos que fluyen Soy el Ganges.

PURPORT — SIGNIFICADO

Of all the aquatics the shark is one of the biggest and is certainly the most dangerous to man. Thus the shark represents Kṛṣṇa.

De todos los seres acuáticos, el tiburón es uno de los más grandes y seguramente el más peligroso para el hombre: Así, el tiburón representa a Kṛṣṇa.
