पुरॊधसां च मुख्यं मां विद्धि पार्थ बृहस्पतिम
सेनानीनाम अहं सकन्दः सरसाम अस्मि सागरः
purodhasāṁ ca mukhyaṁ māṁ
viddhi pārtha bṛhaspatim
senānīnām ahaṁ skandaḥ
sarasām asmi sāgaraḥ

TRANSLATION — TRADUCCION
 | Of priests, O Arjuna, know Me to be the chief, Bṛhaspati, Of generals I am Kārttikeya, and of bodies of water I am the ocean.
| | De los sacerdotes, conóceme como el principal, Bṛhaspati; De los generales Yo soy Kārttikeya , el señor de la guerra; y de las extensiones de agua Yo soy el océano.

PURPORT — SIGNIFICADO
| | Indra is the chief demigod of the heavenly planets and is known as the king of the heavens. The planet on which he reigns is called Indraloka. Bṛhaspati is Indra’s priest, and since Indra is the chief of all kings, Bṛhaspati is the chief of all priests. And as Indra is the chief of all kings, similarly Skanda, or Kārttikeya, the son of Pārvatī and Lord Śiva, is the chief of all military commanders. And of all bodies of water, the ocean is the greatest. These representations of Kṛṣṇa only give hints of His greatness.
| | Indra es el semidios principal de los planetas celestiales y es conocido como el rey de los cielos. El planeta en el que rige se llama lndraloka. Bṛhaspati es el sacerdote de lndra, y puesto que lndra es el jefe de todos los reyes, Bṛhaspati es el jefe de todos los sacerdotes. Así como Indra es el jefe de todos los reyes, igualmente, Skanda, el hijo de Pārvaī y el Señor Śiva, es el jefe de todos los caudillos militares. De todas las extensiones de agua, el océano es la más grande. Estas representaciones de Kṛṣṇa sólo son insinuaciones de Su grandeza.
