tatrāpaśyat sthitān pārthaḥ pitṝn atha pitāmahān ācāryān mātulān bhrātṝn putrān pautrān sakhīṁs tathā śvaśurān suhṛdaś caiva senayor ubhayor api

TRANSLATION TRADUCCION
| There Arjuna could see, within the midst of the armies of both parties, his fathers, grandfathers, teachers, maternal uncles, brothers, sons, grandsons, friends, and also his fathers-in-law and well-wishers.
| | Estando allí en medio de los ejércitos de ambos bandos, Arjuna pudo ver a sus padres, abuelos, maestros, tíos maternos, hijos, nietos, amigos e igualmente a su suegro y bienquerientes, todos allí presentes.

PURPORT SIGNIFICADO
| On the battlefield Arjuna could see all kinds of relatives. He could see persons like Bhūriśravā, who were his father’s contemporaries, grandfathers Bhīṣma and Somadatta, teachers like Droṇācārya and Kṛpācārya, maternal uncles like Śalya and Śakuni, brothers like Duryodhana, sons like Lakṣmaṇa, friends like Aśvatthāmā, well-wishers like Kṛtavarmā, etc. He could see also the armies which contained many of his friends.
| | Arjuna pudo ver a toda clase de parientes en el campo de batalla. Pudo ver a personas como Bhūriśravā, quien era contemporáneo de su padre, a los abuelos Bhīṣma y Somadatta, a maestros como Droṇācārya y Kṛpācārya, a tíos maternos como śalya y śakuni, a hermanos como Duryodhana, a hijos como Lakṣmaṇa, a amigos como Aśvatthāmā, a bienquerientes como Kṛtavarmā, etc. Pudo ver también los ejércitos que incluían a muchos de sus amigos.
